Caring Family is a family-oriented home away from home providing high quality care for over 53 years. A staple in the Far Rockaway community, we are constantly reinventing ourselves in order to meet the ever-changing needs of our residents. We have recently remodeled our building to improve the comfort of our residents and to provide a home like environment.

Since opening our doors, we have worked tirelessly to become a Five-Star facility, one that you can trust and feel at ease with when looking for short term, or long term care for your loved one.

In 2018, we changed our name from New Surfside Nursing Home to Caring Family Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to better reflect what we stand for, and that's treating your family like ours.
